Took a quick break from commissions to work on this piece.
Was done in Painter using a combination of wet acrylics, fine airbrush and a customised fur brush.
I plan on offering commissions to this standard in the future, and will probably auction one off on Furbuy soon. We'll see...I'd also like to stream me painting one of these. Again, we'll see...

this is a beautiful piece of art.
the way you put in the hair details and the eyes are just wonderful. the difference in length of the hair makes it even more realistic.
the expression gives me the idea of the thrill of hunting which gives out the passion of being free.
the left eye looks like it is just a little to low in the face but that could be because of the pale light on top of its nose.
the hair just beside the right eye looks a bit blurry but it doesn't have real effect on the total view.
the highlights are very complimenting on its whole being.
you did a wonderful job on this painting ^^
The Artist thought this was FAIR

This looks absolutely amazing!
Love the lighting, makes him look so fluffy and huggable ^^ Also love the fact that it looks as if he emerges from the dark.

I think you did here a wonderfull job, on coloring, shading and highlighting.
The anathomy is very good, without mistakes, for me at least.
The part I like is the light from right, lightening the wolf from the darkness.
It's eyes are very nice, too.
Fur and fur texture is very nice. :3

Its absolutely awsome I love it! Immediately I am drawn to its eyes. I hardly notice that it is actually a piece of art work which has to be a crdit to you, it looks real!

That's really beautiful. You did an awesome job on the fur, anatomy and shading :) I don't see any mistakes, and the use of light here is awesome :) I'm going to :+fav: this now ;)

Lovely, it takes a lot of skill to pull off a black and white peice. The fur is a beautiful combination of soft and crisp hairs.
