He stalks the forests and mountains after dark, releasing an eerie fog from his lantern. You can sometimes catch a glimpse of him on a full moon night.

Started this back in 2008. I was trying out a hyper realistic fur technique at work and wanted to make something for myself in the same style.

I may upload a tutorial on how I paint fur if anyone is interested.

This piece tells a story to me, I love artworks that do this.
Your fur is so terrificly detailed.
I think the lighting could be a bit more stronger ..but thats just my opinion.
I love the tendrils of mist pouring from the lantern, you have so much detail in the subject. Which draws me to the trees in the background. I'm not sure if it would be the lighting but they need some more texture and detail which would come into unison with your character.

All over I think you've done extremely well. Your anatomy is great.

The fur really is hyper-realistic, its so well done, i just cant stop looking at the detail in all the hair, all very fine and detailed.
I like the scene and his pose, the golden bangles and bright colors on his head stand out very well in the blue/dark background.

Another masterful anthro!

Ashalind this is awesome! The fur and everything else is simply beautiful. The eye is so intense aswell.
