Anthro / Digital Media / Painting & Airbrushing

My entry into RARE 2010: The Unusual Anthro Calendar which depicts some of the less common species of anthros. Our website is under construction, but feel free to visit it anyway.

The Anthro Calendar

Photoshop and Painter.
I feel like about 100 hours went into this, but I lost count somewhere along the way, so who knows.

I will have to render it out again in CMYK for print, because it's turned out a bit dark. The blacks are too black, but it's just a matter of tweaking. I may add a few extra details while I'm there.

EDIT: I have fixed the colour issue (hopefully) and have given some light to the legs on the front panda. We'll see if it's any good when I do a test print.

pandas are my all time favorite animal! this piece is really beautiful with the lighting, shading, and how you did the textures of everything, but if i may say something without any hard feelings or getting anyone upset. I played the flute for 7 years in band and i noticed that they were holding the flutes backwards. the flute points out to your right when playing it not the left. again, i'm not saying this to make anyone upset, just thought it could help if you ever decide to use it for future reference ^^. still a beautiful job though. love your work
